Bailey is an Occupational Therapist with Sprout Pediatrics. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science, with an emphasis in Motor Development in 2010. She then attended the Medical University of South Carolina, where she attained her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2012.
Bailey specializes in the following areas: Pediatrics, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Feeding Therapy, and Sensory Processing Disorder. She is certified in the SOS Feeding Approach: a transdisciplinary program for assessing and treating children with feeding difficulties.
Bailey enjoys working for Sprout, as she feels it is one of the most supportive work environments she has ever been in. She shares that there is an unlimited number of ideas, expertise, and encouragement to be shared amongst the therapists. Bailey states, “I love meeting kids where they are and helping them take the next steps to increased independence. I love using play, sensory input, and a child’s own imagination to help motivate them and facilitate learning new skills.” She believes that working with families is rewarding because when the family is involved in therapy, kids make exponential progress. Helping kids reach their full potential is why she enjoys her job.
Bailey is married to her husband, Matt, and they have two children. She and her husband lead a small group together at their church, Midtown Fellowship. They enjoy art projects, traveling, movies, and spending time with friends and family.
