After completing high school, Julia received a B.A. in Experimental Psychology from the University of South Carolina in 2021. She was accepted into the first cohort group for
the Medical University of South Carolina’s Speech-Language Pathology program and graduated with her M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from MUSC in 2023 Julia shares that she has worked with a variety of patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down syndrome, cleft palate, and those clients with feeding disorders. Julia also shared she most enjoyed her recent training from Dr. Brown’s course on the topic of Breastfeeding Fundamentals for Infants with Orofacial Clefting.Julia shares, “I absolutely love pediatric speech therapy! Working alongside families to target their children's individualized goals is so rewarding. I am incredibly grateful for all
the close relationships I have formed along the way!” She also is excited to join the Sprout family and says “Everyone at Sprout is so welcoming and passionate about the communities they serve. Having a multidisciplinary team of professionals to collaborate with and bounce ideas off is so special!”Julia loves going out on the boat, spending time with family and friends, and going to Carolina football games!
